Du sauropode bien sûr, mais aussi une moule. Une moule d'au douce qu'on trouve généralement en remplissage fossile dans l'argile noire.
Le sédiment prenant la forme du coquillage, sa structure organique toujours absente ici à Angeac.
Sauf que cette fois ci... il reste une partie de l'animal d'origine. Est-ce côtable monsieur Ronan ?
En tout cas une étude plus précise sur ce bivalve est dans les tuyaux.

Sauropod remains, of course, but also a mussel—a freshwater mussel typically found as a fossil cast within the black clay.
Usually, the sediment simply takes the shape of the shell, as the organic structure itself is absent here at Angeac.
But this time... a portion of the original animal remains. Is this one worth cataloging, Mr. Ronan?
In any case, a more detailed study of this bivalve is in the works.
